Starting with a creative brief and copywriting provided, the client needed a pet shampoo label for the Green Tea & Mint scent. Keywords such as natural, stand-out, simplicity, fun, cute, and friendly led me to create this playful design. The client requested a dog on the label and was open to the use of AI.

Therefore, it inspired me to generate a funny dog illustration with Gemini AI, prompting an illustration of a dog grabbing a bath brush with its mouth and wearing a bath cap. Then, I built a simple layout, sans-serif font, but still eye-catching features, such as the bubbles. For the color palette, I chose green tones to emphasize the natural aspect and the scent of the shampoo, Mint and Green tea.

Overall, I got curious about this work. So, I looked at the client’s products, and they also have other shampoo scents. I applied some brand alignment and designed the other two shampoo labels, using violet tones for the Lavender scent and blue tones for the Ocean Breeze scent.

To accomplish this design, I created some ads: one for the main product, the Green Tea & Mint shampoo, and the other for the three shampoo products. While still achieving the playfulness and cuteness in the background.
