Arepa, Sugar Cake and Grilled Cheese Book
Print Design | 2025
Software: Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator
Arepa, Sugar Cake and Grilled Cheese is a heartfelt bilingual story about a young girl and her multicultural family living in the US. The story will emphasize how belonging in this country is multi-faceted, and how widespread and foundational multicultural identities are to the US. It also sublimely teaches the American birthright citizenship.
With the collaboration of Angel Castillo, Jayveon Boland, and Yeimilee Marcano, the "Arepa, Sugar Cake and Grilled Cheese" bilingual book supports our campaign about birthright and cultural awareness in American children, focusing on educating and supporting the multicultural community.
